Near perfect conditions greeted the 82 players in the final medal of 2018, the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Medal. A total of £205 was raised for the charity through entry fees.
The competition was split into 2 divisions, in division 1 Simon Coote (pictured) produced a stunning round of gross 70 (Nett 65), which included 2 bogies on the front 9 to beat Julian Peek (Nett 68). Third and fourth place prizes went to Michael Sharp & Mike Penney, both returning net 69's. In division 2 Colin Platten edged Bob McGill into second place by one shot. Colin returning a Nett 71 to Bob's Nett 72.
