New Flags & Hole Bases
New flag fitting to help reduce damage to holes

Diary Event

The Club has invested in a new to market product that will help reduce the damage to the holes when players take their ball out of the hole. Since the introduction of the new rule of leaving the flag in the hole when putting out, there has been a dramatic increase in the damage to the holes when players either put their hand in to retrieve their ball, or pull their ball out with their putter.
The new product is a cradle that fits on the bottom of the flag stick (as shown in the picture). Players can now lift the flag from the hole and their ball will be on the cradle. The cradle is made from a flexible rubber material, so won't cause any indentations to the putting greens when the flag is laid down.
The current 3 coloured flag system will be tweaked this year, following feedback from members the Blue flags (for the back of the green) will now be white.
